                                   EDITIONS OF RENAISSANCE MUSIC

These editions include transcriptions of items from the Cantiones Sacrae (1575) by Thomas Tallis and William Byrd, the Gradualia (Book 1: 1605, reprinted 1610) by Byrd, The Triumphes of Oriana, John Wilbye's The Second Set of Madrigales (1609), The First Book of Motets (1556) by Orlande de Lassus, Thomas Bateson’s The Second Set of Madrigales (1618), motets and other works by Tomás Luis de Victoria; and miscellaneous other pieces. All of these items are produced in two formats: choral scores, and  complete sets of parts as appropriate for performance by either singers or by players of instruments appropriate for the period (such as recorders, viols, cornetts and sackbuts), in all relevant clefs.
