Mostly Music is a music educational enterprise, based in north-west England, and
founded by Val and Roger Wilkes in 1991. These pages provide information about us,
our various activities and initiatives, and our association with other musical organisations,
music publishers and suppliers, educational establishments,etc.
We are involved in many different things: writing and publishing study booklets for
students, teachers, and serious music-lovers; publishing Roger Wilkes’s performing
editions of sacred and secular music of the Renaissance, also original compositions
and arrangements (please see Publications pages for details; the supply by mail order
of music and music books; private and correspondence teaching of individual students;
teaching singing and music appreciation at various establishments; and active music-making
with different organisations.
