Mostly Music is a music educational enterprise, based in north-west England, and founded by Roger and Val Wilkes in 1991. These pages provide information about us, our various activities and initiatives, and our association with other musical organisations, music publishers and suppliers, educational establishments,etc.
We are involved in many different things, detailed below: the writing and publishing of study booklets for students, teachers, and serious music-lovers; publishing performing editions by Roger Wilkes of sacred and secular music of the renaissance period, as well as original compositions and arrangements (please see Mostly Music Publications for details; the supply by mail order of music and music books; private teaching of individual students, including by correspondence; teaching singing and music appreciation at various institutions; and active music-making, including early music, with different organisations.
